MG Ballet School was founded with a single conviction: that serious, structured classical ballet training should be available right here in the Rio Grande Valley.

 Our school is built on the Cuban Ballet Methodology — one of the most complete and respected systems of classical ballet training in the world. This is not just a philosophy we teach from a textbook. It is the method in which our founders were trained as professional dancers: Luis Ledesma at the Escuela Nacional de Arte (ENA) in Havana, Cuba, and Maria Garcia at the Escuela Superior de Música y Danza de Monterrey, Mexico.

 

What we offer is not recreational dance. It is a full academic program — structured level by level, year by year — designed to develop technically strong, artistically expressive, and physically prepared dancers.

 

Whether your child is taking their very first ballet class or stepping into a pre-professional training path, every student at MG Ballet School receives the same foundation: proper technique, consistent progression, and individual attention inside small, focused groups.
